The village settlement of Karioi, containing 36 allotments prettily Pituabed at the base of Mount Karioi on the the rise just above the large flat peninsula with its magnificent sandy beach and bathing grounds, which must become the site of an important town as a favourite sanatorium of New Zealand. 3 Small Farms adjoining the Village of Karioi, containing respectively 26, 27, and 28 acres. Also, 3 Farms at the base of Mount Karioi containing respectively 25, 40, and 68 acres. Terms :— One-half Cash, the balance by P.N. at 6 months, without interest.

i A T a meeting of the Kihikihi School t%- Committee on Monday, the 26th day January, 1880, it was unanimously agreed that the Compulsory Clauses, 89 to 93 inclusive, of the Education .\ct, 1877, be brought into force within the Kihikihi School Dibtrict. KIRIKIRIROA HIGHWAY DISTRICT. TJATEPAYERS are notified that all JLIj Bates unpaid by the 25th inst. will be sued for in the E.M. Court, at Hamilton, on the 3rd day of March next, without further notice. The Collector will attend at the Tloyal Hotel, Hamilton East, on Tuesdays, Thursdaye and Saturdays, from 2 till 5 p.m., to receive payment of rates up to 25th inst. J.
