CONSERVATIVE VICTORY. London, February 6.

The result of the Liverpool election was the re-election of Mr John Lorr, a Tory, and the election of Mr Whittly, also a Tory, by a majority of 200 over Lord Ramsay, the Liberal candidate, and who, in consequence of agreeing as to desirableness of a Parliamentary inquiry into the question of Home Rule for Ireland, received the bulk of the Irish votes.
