MR BERRY'S REFORM BILL.
Melbourne, [December 4. Mr Berry hopes to obtain 47 votes on the .Reform Bill. It is stated that Munro's re-elec-tion for Carlton is having a demoralising effect on Government supporters. His amendment on the Reform Bill, proposing the substitution of provision resembling the Legislative Council's, is likely to be largely supported.
Sydney, December 4. The members of the Church of England are taking steps to petition Parliament against the withdrawal of State aid from the church schools.
