CRICKET.

Albxahdba, Saturday. A cricket match, Alexandra v. Te Awamutu Club, was played here to-day, and was one of the most interesting games that has hitherto been played on the ground. As will be seen by the scores the match was a tight one, and but for the excellent batting of Delaney m the second innings for Alexandra, doubtless the victory would have gone to the visitors. Mr Griesson was captain of the Awamutu team, while Connell commanded Alexandra.
