CRICKET MATCH AT CAMBRIDGE.

CONSTABULARY VERSUS CIVILIANS. The wickets were pitched at 11 a.m., and the constables were sent to the Avickets, and, m little more thap. an hour, they were all out, for -5-1 runs. Cooper and Copland Were the best bats, and made 20 and 9 respectively. Mackintosh ancl Jones were bowling Avell. Stubbing also boAvled very effectively. C. made 59, Cooper again making the highest score, 22. The Civilians seemed, now, to haA r e lost all heart, and 'only put together forty-one m the second innings, by over cautious play. The result surprised eyeryone, as all had expected an ea,sy victory for the civilians.
