[ Sib, — A notice has just been posted on Mr McKellow's Hotel, that Mr Cunning- , ham has been elected by the Te Awamutu Committee, to represent their interests, and Mr Roche. is to be requested, by the Auckland Committee, to withdraw. Many people here, consider that Mr Roche's chances are superior to Mr Cunningham's, and are very much disappointed - that a more general canvass was not made amongst the supporters of Sir George Grey, prior to the final determination h-iving been arrived at. Mr Roche is, by f*-r, the best known man, and decidedly popular m miny districts, besides Te Aw*-mutu. — I am, &c, Whatawhata.
