DRUNKENNESS.
Charles Raven pleaded guilty to a charge of drunkenness.
1 His Worship : I see this is the second offence offence.
Sergeant McGovern replied m the affirmative. Fined 10s and costs, or, m default, 48 hours imprisonment.
VAGRANCY.
James Evers, an old Auckland offenser, was charged under tho Vagrant Act, 1866, as a person without visible, lawful means of support. . Sergeant McGovern testified to the bad conduct of the prisoner since his arrival m Hamilton.
Constable, Murray was examined, and the prisoner was sentenced tothree months imprisonment m Mount Eden Gaol.
