THE YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.
[A small tribute to the Promoters of the Young Men's Christian Association, Cambridge.] Bide on ! Eide on ! ye great hearts, ride, Nor stop your headlong pace, But with an onward movement, charge, Each young heart m his place. Yours, be the motto, " do, or die " ; To sound the bugle call, The long felt want, ye will Supply, And help each erring soul. Ride on ! Ride on ! ye true hearts, ride, Keep up your work of love, The Omnipotent will grant you help, From the Mercy Seat above. • Great is the work you have on hand; Still greater is the prize That ye shall win, when work is done, In lovely Paradise. Eide on ! Ride on ! ye great hearts, ride, Your faces, Zionward keep, Nor stop, till all our Cambridge youth, Join with you, when you meet. Spur on ! Spur on ! again I cry, For the honour of our nation, And God's best blessings shall attend Your grand Association. K. Cambridge, July 10, 1879.
