There was but a small muster of sightseers on Saturday owing to the inclemency of the weather, but the sports were faithfully carried out. The chief event of the day, the trotting match, was well contested, Blackthorne winning the first and Paddy the second heat. Betting was then in favor of Paddy, who pulled off the third heat, and thus setbled the matter. Maiden Race, 400 yards. Ist prize, L3 ; 2nd, Ll. Entrance, Is. There was 6 entries. Hacket, 1 ; H.
