The first business done since the Court opened, has been the consideration of the claims of individuals to
succee'J deceased owner?. Eleven of these applications were discussed. Two were adjourned. Orders to succeed were amde with respect to the folllowing blocks : ' TJrenui, v in , favor of Harirawhi Purewa
Maungakawa, in favor of Ngataro and Katea.
Taramoa Rahi, No 3, in favor of Pakira Matenga Taramoa Rahi, in favor of Raihi.
R,ahi, in favor of Meri Whahakai.
Ttramoa Rahi, in favor of Pakira Parengorenga and others. VVhano;oriiu, in favor of Pakira Matenga. . Whangorau, in favor ot Te Raihi an J others. Whangorau, in favor Meri Whahakai and two others Whangorau, in favor of Th Rauamoana and another. The natives are very orderly and well behaved. ludeed, the large and commodious building, the Public^ Hall which has kindly been placed at the disposal of/tha Court by the townspeople of Cambridge enables the business : .j;q ba carried on most satisfactorily;; In fact, there is no other building in the place which could have accommodated anything like the number of natives, which are daily collected.
