Friday. Mr William Bolleston, the member for Avon, last night addressed his oorntifuenfcs and made a speech of two hours duration, m which lir condemned Sir G. Grey, and his policy m no measured terms. In his introdnctoiy rem-irks, he said, that the history of the colonies was dividpd into de'-ades, and that depression followed prosperity a«j surely as the winter followed the summer. The resources and power of the colony were sufficient to tide over the depression, which would bo principally caused through the depreciation # m the produce of wool and grain. He admitted that the action of the Government bad noi brought about this state of things, but their action now could very much modify and alleviate them.
