Hamilton, December 30, 1878. (Before Alfred Cox, E.«i-, J P.) Fredrick. Mayo, was charge 1 with a breach of Railway By -law?, section 34, to wit, beiDg m a state of intoxication at tho Hamilton Riilway Station, on the 28 :h iaab. The prisoner pleaded guilty, and asked the Court to deal leniently witli him, » His TV orahip remarked that the offence was a serious {one, and should not be treated as an ordinary case of druokeun se. However, as ib appeared to be the prisoners first off nee, he would merely inflict a floe of 10a and co3ts. The fine was at once paid, and the offaader left the Court m great glee.
