After the sports were over, the committee adjourned to the hotel where Host Lovell had provided a veiy substantial dinner to which full justice was done. The value of tho prizes, and tlie success ol the sports speak well for the advancement of Taupiri. We must not forget to mention fiat Constable Hobson was on the ground and was effectual m preserving order. The Taupiri Band turned out m full foice and played the visitors to tlie train.
