TE RORE.
December 16, 1878. A meeting of the settlers of this place wns held on the 11th inst., for tho purpose of re-selecting a school site, when it was agreed that the ono near Campbell's Bridge was the best m the district, but, the Board of Education thinking this too near the ferry, the next best site was selected on the south corner of Mr W. W. Higginson's farm, who has most kindly offered an aero for the purposo. Immediately after tho meeting, tho sottlers present formed a survey party, and measured the distance from tho forty to the first proposed site, which was found to be one mile and a quarter. We hope this will settle the matter, and that we will soon get a school, which is much needed. Wo also hope tlie sit.e~irtfar enough from Harapepe school ; it* not, wo will invito tho goui.lcincn of that place to come and select one for us. — Correspondent.
