WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.
A meeting of tho Waipa County Council was held yssterday at Ohaupo. All the members were present.
Councillors Germann and Sloane were severally proposed for the office of Chairman, and, a vote being taken, it was found that there wore for the former Crs. Stoele, Buttle, Reynolds, and Hadfield ; for Cr. Slocine— Qjs. Oiirlwy, Cnn» ning-ham, anct Auhm,
Cr. Germann was then elected Permanent Chairman.
It was resolved that the meetings should be held at Ohauuo, the next meeting to bo on Tuesday, the 10th December. The appointment of a Clerk to the Council i.s also determined upon.
