TUHIKAEAMEA CKIOKET CLUB V. WHATAWKVTA CRICKET CLUB.

The return cricket match, Tuhikararnea v. Whatawhata, was played m Mi 1 Vickera' paddock, Ngahinepouvi, last Saturday. Tahikaramea went m first, Messrs Bodilly, and Taylor, made a good many runs; and Messrs Lang, Biehdale, and Finlayson, also scored freely.. The innings closed for 92 runs. Whatawhata then went to the wickets; E. B. Cox got three wickets for the same number of .runs off the bat, and Bodilly put most of the others out without much trouble. The innings closed for ,36 runs.: The Whatawhata men were sent m again. Messrs Soper, Cracker, and Sampson, made runs fast, but when Lang began to bowl, matters changed. Lang took threg wickets m his fi'jet over, and ano&frer with the first ball of his second, getting as many as six wickets for one run. T c innings closed for four by-three runs. Ttihikaramea, therefore, won the match m one innings, with 14 runs to spare. For Whatawhata Soper batted well ; m both innings he went m first, and m each case carried his bat.
