Whitaker, P.G.M., assumed the throne, and opened the Provincial Grand Lodge, introducing Brother MoCullough, P.P.D.G.M., as the installing Master. Brother Brodie, P.G. Senior Warden, occupied his proper chair, and the other G.L. offices were filled by deputies. The offiers installed were : Brother A. Johnsten as P.D.P.G.M., Brother Rev. B. W. Harvey as P.G.D. Chaplin, Brother Gillon asP.G.J*. Sec, Brother Bowles as P.G.S.D., ! and Brother Dale as P. A, Marshall. The ceremony was admirably conducted by Brother McCulloch, and the Musical party was supported by a splendid choir. Brother Brodie on behalf of the Sir Walter Scott, Thames; Brother McCnlloch on behalf of St. Andrew's Lodge, Auckland ; and Brother Power on behalf of the Delight of the Thames Lodge, congratulated the newly installed officers.
