AUCKLAND RACE MEETING

The programme for the Auckland Summer Meeting was, says the ' Herald' of 'Wedhftsdayj arranged at a meeting of the stewards held yesterday. T The races will commence on the 2Gth December, aud be continued on the Ist and 2nd January. Considerable increases have been made in regard to prizes, the principal; of which have been raised to sums which will, no doubt, bring 1 together large fields from the South) as well a.s the North Island. Mr H. P. Lance, of Canterbury, was appointed handicapper. The programme is as follows (distances not yet fixed, but they will pvobably be the same as last year) :-±T?s''
