The Company beg to notify that their present system of taking charge of Goods for Waikaio, which for years pasb has proved so convenient and satisfactory both to and Consignees, will be aiscontinued. This alteration has become necessary in consequence of the Railway Department refusing all facilities for a through traffic. From and after the 18th inst., Ship-pa-s will please consign all Goods for Waikato to Oare of W.S.N. Co., Mekoek. The Company will pay Hallway Carriage to Mercer, and forward the Goods to all parts ot Waikato with care and despatch. Down Freight for Auckland will be handed over to Railway at Mercer, Kates of Freight will be the same as those charged b> Eailway. FRANZ SCrIERFF, Secretary. Auckland, February 4, 1578.
