THE BRIDGE.
The following satisfactory telegram was received last night by His Worship the Mayor of Hamilton irom the Hon. the Premier : " I have informed tlie Minister for Public Works of the arrangement made with the Borough Council of Hamilton : That upon the Government approving the plans and specifications of the Bridge over the river, the sum of three thousand pounds voted for the construction ot the Bridge should be available for the purpose of paying in part the cost of such Bridge, on vouchers to be duly certified from time to time by the officer appointed by your Borough for that purpose."
