Sib,— At the Hamilton Borough Council meeting this evening a Councillor, m supporting the vote ior a subsidy to the Governor's Banqu.t, remarked that there was nothing "like eating the iron whilst it is ot." I trust that m the bill of fare our worthy Councillors will submit to His Excellency, dishes a little more easy of digestion will be provided. — I am, &c, Eficube. March 18, 1878.
