RAILWAY INCONVENIENCES.
Sm,— l had occasion to send some fat sheep to town by rail the other day, and on arrival at Ngaruawahia I found the only convenience for lqading them w«b m the engine sheed. What with their tumbling into the pit and lifting them into a two floor truck, you may suppose they got finely knocked about, and no doubt became nice tender, mutton. The railway has been opened now some seven months. Surely the department might have found a few hurdles and a platform ere this. — I am, &c, Skttleb.
