CHURCH MEETING AT CAMBRIDGE.

A meeting of the parishioners was held at St. Andrew's Church on Saturday, December 8, at 4 p.m.; the Yen. Arch leacon Pritt occupied the chair. The Archdeacon oponed f he meeting by stating that he had been delegated by the Bishop to pill a meeting of Church members at. , Cambridge, for the purpose of arranging the amount, of stipend for a resident minister, and for considering the boundaries of the parochial district of Cambridge. It whs unanimously resolved that the Cimbridsje district — including T'lOtaoroa, Pukekura, Hautapu, and Taraahere — contribute =£170 towards the stipend of a resident clergyman for Cambridge ; also, that the Cambridge p irochial district should include the Taotaoroa, Pukekura, Cambi'idge Town and Cambridge j Highway, and Tamahere Highway Districts. it was then resolved that the Parsonage Bailding Committee be empowered to borrow sufficient funds from the Standing Committee to add another room to the Parsonage, move the fence, and effect other necessary improvements, and pay off existing liability. The following resolution was, also, unanimously agreed to, " That, as the friends of the late Mr Richard Parker have intimated their desire to pat up a memorial m the Church, every facility be afforded them by Caurch ■•n'vabera as a mark of their great re3pecc for Ms memory."
