[Reuters Special Cablegram-'] The Agent - General's telegram, dated London, September 14, says : After four days* cannonade the Levasna redoabfc before Plevna was taken by the Russians with heavy slaughter. Five thousand Russians were wounded, the number killed Was not estimated. Plevna is still held by the Turks. Sulieman Pasha is advancing on Gabrova. The Czarewiich's army has been driven back oa Biela by Mahomet AH. The independence of Roumama was proclaimed by Prince Charles, whose forces, commanded by him, behaved with great gallantry before Plevna. Forty of his officers and private soldiers were decorated by the Czar, who was present at the battle, on a platform. Nickseok has been taken by the Montenegrins with a battery of guns and war material. The Turks kill almost all prisoners. The people in the valleys near Psevna thresh their corn in the open air with shells flying over 'their heads.
