rendered. Solo, «Robi 's Return, 1 by Misa Maiidi no, who accompanied hcraelf, was a most delightful performauce. The duet, • Reuben and Rachel/ by Mr Kirk aud Mrs Mav'ligan, was Bang most humorously, and caused roars of laughter. Song, 'Break it Gently to my Mother,' Master Bayiis, w-as well received. -.« I'm in Love,' by Mr x .Kirk, could not but b» a success, his caso bting a well known one toth-audieuce. Duet, ' Larboard Watch,' by fllrs Miller and Mr Garland, was sung in a correoc and trlliug manuer. 'The Shamrock of Ireland.,' was saug by Mrs Madigau, with great taste and expression. 'It's all the Same to Sam,' ' by Mr Princw, was ; deemed deaerviog . of an encoro. 'Fairy Bells,' by Mrs Miller, had also an imperative eucore; ' Song of Songß,' by Mr Dick, ending with a local, song (written by the 'Pirongia Kiwi '), ' Touching that Harmonium,' caused roars of )a«gbtsr. I have been requested by Several to ask you to' publish it. [We should have been happy to have published the song in question, but, ,as it is on a subject \» hioh has aroused much local party feeling, our readers will, no doubt, agree with us that, it is in bttler taste to omit it. The verses are, however,^ of such merit, that we should be glad to receive an oooasional contribution irom the 'Pirougia Kiwi,' on any less personal subject.] 'Rory O'More,' by Mr F McMiun, and the glee, 'Gond Night,' coucltided the musical part of the entertainment, the whole concluding with the farce, ' His Last Legs,' by the Alexandra Dramatic Club. The following was the cast : -Felix O'Callaglun, Mr G E Cooper ; Charles Rivers, Mr Garland ; Mr Rivers, J Alien j Dr Banks, G Ahier j IVlrs Montague, Mr P N Crawford ; Miss Banks, Mr R allanj Jahn, Mr T Conroy. Mr- Cooper was very effective, and all the pei formers, for amatuers ! were well up. ui their parts, and their performance CrtUStd much amusement aud laughter to those /issembled. I would suggest to some of them, on their next appearance, tho advisability of raising their voices a little, many of their speeches being almost inaudible at tbe lower end of the hall. The farce concluded a nioßt enjoyable evenings entertainment. '
