No specimens, as such, were trucked out this day, but the stope gave excellent crushing-stone, with considerable gold showing. Xhere is gold still visible, but the specimen run is virtually squeezed out upwards. Driving on the face of the reef shows for improvement, and another lot of gold may be ahead, but this is prob'emafcical. There is no doubt of the lode being rich under foot, bub this will be obtained in the proper course of working. Wangarei, Thursday The 'Wangarei V.
