Certainly the secretary gave notice, but no mention is made of such a vast change as altering the time of holding the meeting from Spring to Autumn, neither was such a thing thought of. by a large number of subscribers who attended the sale, but did not attend the meeting. Such a change, I think, is of sufficient impoitance to receive a special notice, and free and impartial discussion, and not to be carried by a fluke or a side wind. As I voted against the motion perhaps I can only see iuy own side of the question, but if Mr Tisdall's is butof order, though carried, it is only so much vapour. If MrjTisdall'a resolution is reverted, and he gives notice at next meeting for discussing the quettion at the following meeting this will bring us into June, before which time the thing ought to be settled one wny ci' the other, Jf it may be coiisidered that sufficient noico was not then the best way would be f-.;r the president or Secretary to call a meeting at an early date for that special purpose.—lam, Ac, Saml Stbble.
