Auckland, last night. Produce sales to-day — Maize realised 4s 2d to sa ; oats, 2s lid to 3s 3d ; cheese, od to 7d ; bacon, 4£d; potatoes, 3a 6J to Gs ; provincial haras, 5d to s|d ; turkeys, 43 6d to 5s 8d j geese, 2s 2d to 3s 3d ; fowls, 2s to 2s 7d • ducks, Is 3d to Is 9d.
Christchqbch, last night. Harvest operations have com. menced. There will be less straw, but more grain per acre this year than last. All the cereals look well. The American salmon have grown very rapidly, and will be turned into various rivers next week.
Wanganui, last night. There is a general dispositioa in Wanganui, Itangitikei, and Manawafcu Counties, that the Act should come into full operation.
