Tub* Club Handicap, of 100 toy ; 2 miles ; nomination 3 soys ; acceptance 5 soys, to go to second horse. Ponx Race, of 10 soys ; 1 mile ; icr ponies 14 hands and under; 7ibs allowed lor every inch under ; top weight 9at 7ibs ; entrance 1 soy. Waikato Stakes, of 30 soys ; H miles ; entrance 3 soys ; welter weight for age ; 5 soys out of utakes to go to second horse. Publicans Pubsx, a handicap of 50 sov«;l| milts ; nomination 1 soy, acoeptauoe 2 sot*. Handicap to be deolared at Hamilton and Cambridge at 8 p m. on the night of the nrst day's races. Acceptances to bo paid before the first race oa the uecond day. Trotting Hack, of 20 soys ; 3 miles j weights 12 stone ; Distance handicap ; nomination 10s : acceptance 1 soy. In the event of a break, horses to be immediately palled up into a trot. Ladies' Posse, of 20 soys ; 1 mile and a distance ; welter weight for age; same restrictions as Waikato Stakes. Horses to be ridden by members of W. T. Club : entrance 2 so vs. Hack Racb, of 10 sovs; 1 mile; Weight 10 stone. Winner to be sold immediately after tbe race for 20 uova; surplus (if any) to go to the race fund. Consolation Handicap, of 15 soys ; Ii miles ; entrance 1 sot.
Nominations, with entrance money for the Hurdle Race, Turf Club Handicap, and Trotting .Race, to be sent to the Secretary at the Hamilton Hotel, before 8 p.m., or to Mr Percival, Auckland, before 4 p.m. on Thursday, 24th January. Weight* to be declared oa Thursday, January 31. Acceptances reoeived on night of general entry. All entries to be scut in before 8 p.m. on Saturday, the 2nd February, addressed to the Secretary, Hamilton Hotel, enolosmg fees, with namo, age, pedigree, and color of horse, name of owner, and colors of rider. No entries will be received on any pretence whatever after the time specified, and all disputes to be aettled by the Stewards, whose decision will bo final. Waikato Turf Club rules strictly ad. hercd to, copies of which may be had from the Secretary. No person shall be allowed to run a horde except in the Hack, Pony, or Maori Races, unless a subscriber of 2 sots to the race fuuds. All protests during the meeting must be accompanied with a deposit of 3 soys, which will be liable to forfeiture to the Club, should the Stewards consider th« protest frivolous or vaxatious.
