If the sum expended on tin* failure is included under the heading of • Temporary Ferry,' then 1 say it is most appropriate, fer nothing ouuld have been 'more temporary. I don't See that any sum was spent on our ' Pound' altbouuh I know there was onu ■ rected during the j«ur, find a very iht-dj looking one too, perhaps its cost is includtd in sundries, but why so, seem* curious, when one sees a small sum like £1 Is rent of ' Hull' under a separate heading. I will conclude my review < f the expenditure by noticing the item for legal expenses which is set down at £18 odd. This should certainly have been paid by the members of the Board. It would teach them to loot after i he business for which they are elected. W« should then have careful members, as caieful ss if they wer* looking after their own buciness.
