WELLlNaTov,.Last night. The position of the Ministry is this. A. meeting hold on Saturday, hurriedly cjnvened, nt which a number of members were present, and a number of others not able to attend, signified its concurrence* with the action of the Cabinet. At this nieetiug it was resolved to -requst the Govevmi-ent to tike uo steps until a f ros n meeting had becu convened. On Monday this morning, a meoting was held, at' which 40 were present, besides 11 others, including Ministers, who will conciir,iu tho proceedings then resolved on. At this meeting it was stated that the Government wore willing to bring down a resolution to tho effect th-it, the* House will not interfere with the present issue of a Crown Grant for the swamp, ia* tho ordinary course. The meeting unanimously approved, aad requested the Government to adopt this course. Notice will probably bo given on Wednesday, and a division will be taken on. Thursday.
