NGARUAWAHIA. April 14th.
Tbe new Baw mill that has been lately Added to Mr Lamb's flour mill, on the Horotiu side of the river, will amply repay those interested ; everything is now ready for working. Excepliug the saw frame (which is one of the finest over brought to this colony) and the castings, all tbe remainder of the work was done on the premises, such as turning up and boring of rollers, shafting aud fittings. The manner in which they have beau turned out reflects great credit on the engiaeer ot the establishment. Tne travelhug bench and frame work have been builc by locul tradesmen, and on the whole tbe new mill is a cieJtt to the parties employed aud also to the spirited proprietor. I regret to have to report an accident to Mr E Message, who has received severe injuries from a fall from the roof of a house on which he w^s working, besides a severs shaking. One of his ankles has been either broken or puc out ; it is thought it will take a long time before he wil be able to use it. — Own CoftRESPoNDKHT.
