GOOD TEMPLAR FESTIVAL.
Thb anniversary of the introduction of Good Templary into WaiKato will be commemorated on Tuesday evening by a soiree and entertainment, to be held in the Urge room of the A 0 Barracks, Hamilton. The chair will be taken by our*iuuchrespected representative in Parliament, A Cox, Etsq. Great preparations nave bet* n made to make the affair as successful as the worthiness oi the object it commemorates deserves. The gardens will be illuminated with Chinese lanterns, and the soiree, which takes place at half-past six o'clock, having been couoluded, the couip.my will be amused with a vocal and instrumental conoert, the performers ia which will include not only the first talent iv Hamilton, but that of other districts,, especially Alexandra, where the movement has made rapid strides during the past month or two, having been joined by soma of the leading settlers of the district.
