Auckland, Wednesday. In the * ' Gazette " to-day Thomas Baker is appointed poundkeeper at Te Awamutu, and the premises formerly used by P P Neil are proclaimed as the public pound. The " Cross" desorves tbe thanks of the community for ferretting out and raforming the abuse in the administration of the Three Kings' Trust. The property is to be at once leased, and tbe proceeds applied to the objects for which the inatitntion. was endowed.
