PRELIMINARY PIIOSPEOTUS OF THE HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY.

It is proposed 0 establish a Company under the above title, for tho purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is nmoh felt is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Officer Commanding the district, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a plaoe where all classes and sections of the community can moet for public purposes. The Government have been applied|to for a site for the proposed hall, and there is little doubt that the request will be acceded to. The capital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :— ss upon application, and Cs each succeeding month As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will bo convened for tho purpose of electing offlcoio and provisonal direc* tors, deciding upon the plan of the building, snd other n<>fics<ary preliminary matters.
