PRELIMINARY PUOSPECTUS OI TH« HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY.
It is proposed 0 establish a Company under the above title, for the purpose of erecting a mitablfl Public Hall in Hamilton. That the want of such a building is irmoh felt is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependont for accommodation upon the oourteoy of the Officer Commanding the district, or of tho Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place whore all classes and sections of the community can meet for public purposes. The Government have been applied|to for a eito for tho proposed hall, and there is little doubt that the request will be acceded to. The capital v?ill consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :—sa: — 5a upon application, and 5s each Buccocding month As soon as a sufficient number of eliaves have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convened for tho purpose of eleoting officers and provieonal directors, deciding upon the plan of the building, and other necessary preliminary matters. Applications for shares can be made to Mr Kinnbdt Hill, Victoria street, Hamilton.
