The City of Melbourne with English mail, arrited at 8 a m this morning ; she left San 'Francisco, 11am, 7th of February (Auckland tioje) and Honolulu 4 a m on the l'6th, making a passage of 22 days 20 hour 9, including 15 hout-s 'detention at Honolulu. She experienced a heavy westerly gale the d*y after leaving San Francisco, which (the gale not the day) lasted '48 hours. The rest of the passage was fine. There were only 1 tyro saloon passengers for Aucklaud, Mrs Sinclair arid Dr Mahaber. There* were 7 for Bydnej, and 32 ateesragfe passengers. The Oransda arrived from 'KandaVa twenty minutes later tban tke City of Melbourne, which did not call at Fiji.
