PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS of Tns HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY.

It is proposed o establish a Company under the above title, for tho purpose of erecting a tuit-

ablo Public Hall in Hamilton.

That the waut of auch a building is much felt is indisputable. Tho people nr« at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Officor Commanding thedutiict, or of tho Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. Tho present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all clusses and soctions of tho community can moot for public purposes. The Government havo been applied to for a eito for tho proposed hall, and there is little doubt that tho request will bo acceded to. The capital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :—ss: — 5s upon application, and 5s each succeeding month. Ah soon as a sufficient number of •hares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convened for the purpose of electing officers and provieonal directora, deciding upon tho plan of the building, snd other necessary preliminary matters. Applications for shares can be iruule to Mr Kinnidy Hill, Victoria street, Hamilton.
