Sib,— l notice that the Ngarutwahia and Hamilton sports are to be held thi* j«ar on the same day. I cannot but think the Committees have made a mistake in bo doing. In former jears they were lvld on different days and both spectators and competitors attended from each place, and better sport was the result. Cannot the Committees arrange tbii. For in&tunee, Nguruawahia might hire their horsa racing on the Ist of January and the foot-iportt on the SI of December. I am, &c, X. Y.
