CAMBRIDGE.

An accident, which fortunately was unattended with any serious results, happened to three lads on Monday last. From what I have been able to gather-, it appears that they went on the river in a dingy with the intention ot rowing up under the bridge, a most dangerous proceeding, as the river which at this part is compressed by rocks, abounds in whirlpools. Seeing the boat filling, one of the lads sprang out, and immediately afterwards the dingy capsized, causing the others to follow his example, though somewhat unwillingly. They drifted with the current to the piles of the bridge, and escaped with nothing worse than a good sousing. Let us hope that this will be a warning to all adventurous boys for the future, and deter them from voyaging on this dangerous river, at its most danherons part. — (From our own Correspondent.)
