Government Building, Wellington, 8 p.m. The Opposition have withdrawn. ■ An agreement with the Heads of the Opposition was arrived at. Sir George Grey was not in accord with the other Superintendents and made an explanation in the House stating that while he concurred in the substantial accuracy of Sir Donald McLeans uarative of the proceedings lie was not able to act with, the other geatleoien throughout in their arriving at this conclusion. All measures will be pushed on and it is hoped the business of the session will he closed by about the middle of next month.
