Wellington, Wednesday evening. The House resumed at 2.30 to-day, arrangements have been concluded between the Government and the Opposition so that the Bill will be discussed on its merits, in committee. At a meeting between leaders of the Opposition and the Government last night, it was finally resolved that the Bill shall pass, and come into operation on a d.iy after the opening of the next session of Parliament. The business on the order piper is light, and there is now a reasonable prospect of getting through the session in six weeks*
