To-day has been quiet. Members are preparing far the tug of war to-morrow. 'The Opposition do not seem decided upon their policy and- there are evidently great divisions in the camp regarding the policy of obstruction. There is na aijjn of Ministry giving way in their determination to press measures. Ijunedin, Monday eveningBishop Moran writes to the " Times" contradicting the statement which appeared in the " Wellington Tribune" that a pastoral had been issued by the Bishop against the Abolition of Provinces, and says there is no truth in it. At the meeting re Abolition held at Mosgiel, a resolution was passed declaring for delay and to go before the .country.
