The plaut consists of a splendid six-horse power engine, whi h can be worked upto thirty-h Tse, if required. The fact of it coming from that .celebrated foundry is a sufficient guarantee of its being genuine. The enterprising proprietors arc no n in a position to supply tbeir cuntomera with Hrst -class timber at a very low rate. Iheyar^ now able to turn out thirty thousand feet of timber per week. They have at present about sixty thousand feet of timber read^ %j export up the Waikato.
