There have not been many natives in tbt> township these lust few deys, nor any news of importance. If is a groat pity that the natives in this part of the Country, do not take an example from the Thames | eople, who have determined to have no more feasting at their unerals. as they undoubtedly cause not only great trouble / and expense to the friends, bui frequently / absolute poverty, I know many instances lately one for instance a native named Tawnia was very comfortably off some four months ago, since which tiaw ha has losn his six children by death, one ofter another, he and all hid relations have now not a thing to call their own, they have been completely eaten out by their syinatliizmg friends. The Turner's too havo b,>en unfjrtuuace this bemsj the third death in their'#m.ly these last six months. A great number of death's at the Kuiti frwn fevor and diptUena the latter disease being very prevalent just now.
