THE AGRICULTURAL SHOW:

(To the Editor «>f the Waikato Timks.) Sib — Now, that the annual meeting of the Agricultural Association is adverfri-ed I think it ia^time to ask whether something cannot be done, to unite.tl»e Xhole of the Waikato in getting up a cattlfcsiiow'worthy^of the district [t is surely time i his -miserable sc^abhjfilg between the differeat parts of the district shonfd ceaae'S^W I suggest is tbafc representatives of the "various- eettle&euts should, attend the meeting on Saturday, and try to arrive at some decision that wo Id be suitable to all parts, It might surely be feasible io have a show alternately at Te Awamutu, and at Cambridge, or Hamilton, or else to agree to one central place. I merely make the suggestion, hoping that sometiling may be done to get up a show worthy of the Waikato. I am, etc., Te Awamutu, July 14, 1875. On Lookjsr.

To the Editor of the Waikato Tim bs Sib, — I wonder what the National B&n'i authorities mean by so often removing the gentlemen they send to conduct their business in this Town. No sooner had the late Manager mad<» himself acquainted with the people and district thftn he is ordered away, and now I hear his su ccessor ia going ; surely these constant changes betray great want of business management on the part of the Directors or their repres ntativo in the Colony. For my part I am getting tired of so constantly explaining my position and affairs to n-w men, and 1 shall co back to my old friend ths New Zjalaud, a. nd I believe I shall not go alone ; for several men of standing and property in the district have expressed the same intention. I begin to believe more than ever I did in our Colonially managed monetary institutions and unless the National alters its ways I predict that it will be left far behind by its young contemporary the Colonial. A Waikato Settleh. Hamilton, 13th July.
