Smith, and Bates. After a few appropriate remarks from the chairman, in which he criticised the styles of the different readers, and the usual votes of thanks, the meeting came to a close. On Tuesday evening next, there will be a debate, subject — '* Is a monarohial form of Government more beneficial than a republic?" Mr Ash well taking the affirmative* and Mr i\£N^s^the^ie£atireiv
