HAMILTON.

The annual meeting of the members of the Church of England was held here on Friday, Bth inst. The Rev F. C Lloyd in the chair. The following gentlemen were presint: — Colonel Lyon, Messrs Vialou, ('ox, LeQuesne, Seddon, Leslie, Hammond, Hunt, Gh Smith, Graham, Gwynne, and Wliitaker. The mteting having been opened wilh piayer, the minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The balance-sheet shewed the total receipts oi the year to be £232 13s 3d, expenditure £200 252 5 Bd, balance £32 JO* 7d. Messrs Lpslie and LeQue^ne were appointed auditors (or the ensuing year, and Messrs Hunt, Seddon, aud Vialou were elected as the church committee — the first of these being nominated by the minister. It was then agreed — Ist: That the acre upon which the Church stands be disposed ef by public auction. 2nd : That the church committee now elected He authorised to make all anangeraents necessary to tne disposal by public auction of the acre, and that they be further authorised to tuKe the preliminary steps necessary to the erection of a new church. "Votes of thanks haying been passed to Miss Hunt for presiding at the harmonium, and to the church committee of the past year, the meeting was brought to a close.
