AUCKLAND. Monday.
At tlie Caledonian Goldminrng Company's annual meeting the report showed that 4281 tons of quartz had been crushed, yielding 4476 ounces of gold, valued at £12,150. Total receipts, £17,086 all expended in prospecting the mine except £1361 baltnce in hand. The report was adopted. Tlie Thames Gas Company have declared a dividend of 6 per cent, for tho half-year. The Superintendent is expected by the s.s. Luna, clue with the Suez mail to-morrow. At the inquest of William Gribble (killed on board the Clematis), the evidence continued the published accounts of the accident. Verdict accidental death. The Summer race meeting will be held on Boxand be continued on the Ist and 2nd of January, 1875.
