The steamship Flintshire has been got ofiT, and proceeds to Sydney for repairs. Most of the passemgers' effects are saved - „ The Assembly is discussing,tbe Constitution Bill in Committee, as to whether Money Bills should or shonld not be dealt with by the two^Housas sitting together. The steamship Somersetshire arrived in ,56 days. The Cyphrenes with the Californian mail left for San Francisco on Sunday, June 21st. Messrs Samuel, House aad- Co., grain factors, have failed. Their liabilities are £15,000. Maher hns been committed for- perjury in the Buckley's will case. He will be tried by special jury. A new steamer for the New Zealand trade is being built for Messrs McMeikan. Blockwood" and Co. • '
